On two different occasions: Oct. 9, and Nov. 15, 2018, OKC Vice and the OBNDD conducted undercover stings and each time arrested Jaylyn Bell prostituting a juvenile female over the Internet and out of local OKC hotels.

During the Oct. 9th sting, Bell was found hiding in the bathtub, armed with a pistol, while his teen victim was prostituting in the main room.

Further investigation revealed that Bell was prostituting multiple underage girls out of hotels: many were runaways or undocumented immigrants.

Also discovered on Bell’s mobile phone was a video of Bell having a sex with one of the juveniles he was pimping.

On Nov. 26, 2018 Bell was formally charged in Oklahoma County court with three counts of sex trafficking minors and one count of manufacturing child porn. Bell was held on $251,000 bond.

On Feb. 8, 2019 the charges were dismissed, because Bell had been indicted by the U.S. Attorney’s office to stand trial in federal court.

On March 11, 2020 Bell pleaded guilty to a single count of Sexual Exploitation of a child and was sentenced to 18 years in prison, and 10 years probation.

That same day, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Oklahoma published an official release regarding Bell’s guilty plea and sentence.

In the release, it was revealed that Bell sex trafficked at least five juveniles, provided them with drugs, rented them hotel rooms and was armed at all times.

The court also considered Bell’s “relative youth and his capacity for change…” in his sentence.
