5/20/2010 – Jersey City, NJ — Jersey City pimp Allen E. Brown, 48, appeared shocked by the 18-year sentence he received by Judge Kevin Callahan in the Hudson County Superior Court. Brown reportedly blurted out “Eighteen years?” after his sentence was announced.
This wasn’t Brown’s first off hand comment overheard in court. Brown apparently greeted his defense attorney with the comment, “I’m tired of your bull shit.”
Brown pled guilty to running a sex trafficking prostitution ring, racketeering, and extortion.
According to court records, Brown, aka Prince, pimped girls as young as 17 from his upscale Society Hill home along the Hackensack River. Prosecutors say that in one instance when a girl refused to prostitute for him, Brown handcuffed her to a bed and forced her to take heroin until she became addicted and compliant.
Girls who did prostitute for Brown for given quotas of $500 for each weeknight and a $1,000 each weekend night. If they didn’t meet the quota they were beaten and denied drugs.
In addition, Brown was convicted of extorting a $600,000 inheritance from a woman who feared if she didn’t turn over the money she would be killed.
Brown’s mother, Tecora Brown and sister, Veronica attended the sentencing.
Veronica insisted her brother did nothing wrong and was simply trying to help existing prostitutes get off the streets.
