5/18/2010 – OKC, OK — Who knew the Better Business Bureau of central Oklahoma had a blog? Better yet, who knew they blogged about drug dealers and hookers?
According to the BBB’s blog entry dated October of 2009, They received no less than six communications from a single out of state consumer regarding a drug and prostitution infested OKC hotel. The consumer wasn’t complaining about the presence of the aforementioned criminals, the consumer was ultimately complaining because the hotel asked that he never be a guest in the future!
“The bottom line on the complaint is that the customer feels he’s being treated unfairly, and that he demands to be allowed to visit the hotel on his next visit. Along the way in making his case, the complainant ratted out the hotel for its poor service, loud on-site bar, bad rooms, constant traffic of drug dealers and prostitutes, and a host of other illegal activities. And he wants to be invited back.”
The BBB summed up their position on the matter as follows…
“Putting myself in the traveler’s shoes, my best advice is to vote with your dollars and find another hotel. Access to hookers and dope is optional, of course.”
