11/11/09 – This picture of the day (click pic for larger image) was shot at SW 43rd and S. Robinson Ave. in South Oklahoma City. This is Brandie, she’s only 28 and has already seen and experienced more than most people could endure over a lifetime. Her criminal resume includes assault, drugs, alcohol and prostitution. I first met Brandy in 2002. She was a beautiful young lady but already very wise to the streets. An admitted lifelong alcoholic, Brandy claims she was introduced to drugs by a boyfriend and that introduction has led to her ultimate destruction. Most days she is so strung out even the Johns are afraid to pick her up. She’s often abused by local pimps and claims to have been gang raped numerous times. I find the ‘Jesus’ ‘Devil’ graffiti to be very poetic above her.
